چکیده

Background — Postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD) is an important complication of coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Large amount data points to the problem POCD in patients with high surgical risk CABG. Low-risk are not safe from these complications either. Assessment severity, duration POCD, degree recovery and factors off- on-pump stable disease crucial minimization low risk. Objective analyze incidence, reversibility undergoing elective low-risk Methods Results The retrospective cohort study included 79 who underwent (N=44) or off-pump (N=35) CABG (mean EuroSCORE II death 1.08±0.71%), observation period 6 months. Pre-CABG markers impairment were found 50% patients, 44% demonstrating POCD. Patients demonstrated more pronounced decline MoCA score compared (-3.9±2.0 vs. -2.2±2.0 at 8 days point, p=0.018), regress pre-CABG results after 3 weeks. Baseline <25 was be a predictor for point. MMSE less predictive value MoCA. Conclusion differs cohorts, significantly higher prevalence former group, whether assessed using tests. Differences observed within weeks post-CABG. associated cohort.
